COVID REGULATIONS IN ECUADOR

01 CURRENT STATE OF THE COUNTRY: Ongoing vaccination campaign for population. 85% of population have been fully vaccinated.

02 BORDERS International flights resumed operations since June 15th 2020. Land and sea borders remain closed.

03.COUNTRY ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

TO ACCESS QUITO OR GUAYAQUIL:

On february 17th 2023, the requirement of traveler´s health declaration to enter Ecuador by air, sea or land has been eliminated.

All travelers entering to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands will no longer need to present a RT-PCR or antigen test, or a vaccination certificate.

All travelers entering to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands will no longer need to present a RT-PCR or antigen test, or a vaccination certificate.

Masks must be worn in many indoor public spaces, as well as on flights, and on vehicle transfers. Requirements may vary based on the region and establishment, so please follow your guide’s instructions. 

04 COMMERCIAL FLIGHTS  there is no restriction in air transportation.

05 TOURIST ATTRACTIONS: National Parks are open to the public, including Galapagos Islands. Also, Protected Areas, Archaeological Sites and Zoos. To access the Galapagos National Park and the Yanusi National Park, a Negative PCR test result is NOT required.
